This section contains a few things you'll want to know before placing your first order with us. It only takes a few minutes to read and will be well worth your time; trust us on this. Many hundreds of people have ve shopped our store. Like them, I hope you can also become one of my valued "Pearl Girl" friends (that includes you wonderful guys out there buying for your ladies). OUR SOURCES We source all our jewelry from reputable, quality pearl jewelry designers, pearl farmers, pearl wholesalers, jewelry designers and other industry professionals who create exquisite designs for department and mall stores, boutiques and various retailers worldwide. Regarding coral: Our pearl partners do source the coral used our jewelry from legal harvesting operations.
ORDERING & SHIPPING PROCESSES
The saying "All good things come to those who wait" is a mantra around our place. That's because each FunPearls.com item is custom ordered and/or custom made for a lifetime of enjoyment by our customers. We are NOT an automatic bubble-gum machine kind of company spitting out standardized products within 24 hours. If you want that kind of service, please don't order from us because we can't give it to you! Frankly, our clientele appreciate how we operate, and do believe it truly IS worth the brief wait to get their orders. So how does this work? Funpearls.com does not keep its store inventory in Texas. Rather, after you place an order via our secure online system, it is sent to the appropriate pearl partner to begin off-site processing within 24 horus.. It generally takes 2 to 3 days to custom make your piece (depends upon the piece/quantity), then another 1 to 2.5 weeks to be sent via airmail to FunPearls.com in Texas. Once here the item is inspected and packaged for delivery to you via First-Class mail. So the entire wait time can be 1.5 to 4 weeks, depending upon which of our 10+ vendors are making your treasures. We do not offer online tracking. But we will send an e-mail the day the order is shipped. Pinched for time? Want a gift NOW to go to a someone special? Buy a FunPearls.com GIFT CERTIFICATE. It will be sent to your recipient by e-mail immediately after you pay for it, and comes in any denomination you wish! (See section below for details.)
Want the shipping processed speeded up? There are a few things we've done to make sure customers get items faster. First, we help them select pieces with product numbers beginning with the letters T and O as that indicated they are supplied by our U.S.-based pearl farms partners who often cut the typical processing time in half. Second, we can offer overnight delivery from Texas to your place instead of First-Class mail delivery to shave off a few days. Third, sometimes we have items on-site available for purchase; tell us what you need and we might have it ready to ship within 24-36 hours.
Each item is mailed with complimentary gift packaging; either a decorataive box or bag. Only TEXAS orders will be taxed at 8.25% since FunPearls.com is located in Texas. Orders from the 49 other U.S. states and other nations will not be taxed. EXCHANGE & RETURN POLICY We love to please each and every customer, and understand that from time to time what is ordered may not meet her fashion needs. We are a small company, and can't absorb returns; most notably due to fact of the customized nature of most of our items. However, what works well for our customers is our generous policy of giving a gift certificate in the amt. of the item in question (minus the cost to return the item to us). A factoid of interest: Since 2005, we've only received requests for two exchanges. We believe that's due to the fact that our photos accurately reflect the products sold, and our descriptions are clear and accurate as well. BRIDAL PARTY & VOLUME DISCOUNTS FunPearls.com is pleased to be part of weddings and quince celebrations! To help ease the costs of paying for jewelry worn by brides, bridesmaids, flower girls and other members of the wedding party, we've pleased to offer a VERY GENEROUS discount pricing program. If you buy 5-6 pieces of the IDENTICAL item (same product # but colors/lengths can be different), you get 45% off your product total; 6-7 pieces, enjoy 50% off your product total; 8-9 pieces, enjoy 55% off your product total. NOTE: The item must sell in our store for $150 or under to qualify for the discount. Items selling for over $150 also get a volume discount a bit lower; the exact amount depends upon the particular piece and the quantity desired. For quantities approximating more of a wholesale nature, discounts will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. GIFT CERTIFICATES FunPearls.com gift certificates are thoughtful, much-appreciated gifts for friends, family members, co-workers and other special people in your life. They are the perfect answer for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings; First Communion or Confirmation celebrations. You can buy a gift certifcate for any amount good towards the purchase of anything in our online FunPearls.com collection (custome orders, too). After you pay for a certificate, it will be e-mailed immediately to your recipient along with your own personalized message! Unlike some other gift cards out there, ours has no expiration dates and retains its value from month to month (no sneaky service charges to worry about if not used within a year). HOW TO BUY: Go to the "Shop Our Store" section found on the left navigational bar. The first item is "Gift Certificates". Clicking that link takes you to our Gfit Certificate purchasing page where you will be asked a few questions, then sent to a secure Paypal or Google checkout (your choice) to complete your purchase. Each checkout system offers a variety of payment options using major credit cards or a check. HOW TO REDEEM: During the checkout process our system will ask a customer if she has a gift certificate she would like to redeem and apply towards that particular order. Some codes are time senstive relevant to a promotional campaign; others may be tied to a special discount offered to you by a FunPearls.com sales team member. To use a coupon code, simply shop our store and place your order. Towards the end of the fast checkout process there is a place where you can enter a coupon code which will apply an immediate and visible discount to your order.
